From the Bloc (FTB), an Ateneo de Manila University-based start-up, continues to stand out as one of the many women-led ventures shaping the entrepreneurial landscape in the Philippines. In support of advancing inclusivity for Filipina founders, FTB partnered with Imaginable Impact to host a pivotal round table discussion at Echelon 2024. The session, titled "Why Now is the Perfect Time for Filipina Founders—and How to Sustain the Growth Momentum," brought together 60 founders to explore the unique opportunities and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs today.
Supporting women founders is crucial not only for advancing gender inclusivity but also for improving the overall workforce. Women-led businesses bring diverse perspectives, foster innovation, and often prioritize creating more inclusive and supportive workplaces. By championing the success of women entrepreneurs, we contribute to a more balanced economic landscape, unlocking new opportunities and driving long-term growth. Fostering an environment where women can thrive as leaders and founders encourages other aspiring female entrepreneurs, creating a cycle of empowerment that strengthens the workforce and the broader economy.
FTB’s delegation ensured that the insights and strategies shared during the event would extend beyond the September 26-27 gathering. By actively engaging in the conversation and documenting the takeaways, they aim to ensure that the momentum for growth among Filipina founders continues to thrive. This effort highlights FTB's commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs and supporting a more inclusive future for the Philippine start-up ecosystem.
